Mtunzini Forest Lodge Self Catering Resort - Your Stay in Mtunzini

Accommodations are two-bedroom chalets (4 adults) and three-bedroom bi-loft chalets (6 adults). Each cabin features open-plan living, a fully stocked kitchen, braai area, TV with selected channels, fan, air conditioning in the main bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. Some units have a deck facing the forest. Loft areas with open trap doors are available in some cabins.

The onsite restaurant, Coconut Beach, serves a variety of meals, drinks, and desserts. It specializes in seafood and sushi. Note that some guests have reported loud music during evening events and occasional limited menu availability.

Three outdoor pools with water slides and shallow ends are open year-round. A children's playground and water park are available. The games room includes a pool table, foosball, table tennis, and darts (R10 per day). A putt-putt course costs R30 per person. Guests can use the private beach area via a 450-meter shaded path. Bicycle rental, hiking trails, fishing, and mini golf are also offered. BBQ facilities and an outdoor fireplace are provided.

Located in Mtunzini, the resort is adjacent to Umlazi Nature Reserve and the Umlazi River. The private beach is a 5-minute walk through forest. The area is safe and surrounded by nature with prolific birdlife. A local sushi restaurant is 5 minutes away by car.

Daily housekeeping, ironing service, and laundry are available. Meeting/banquet facilities and a shared lounge/TV area are provided. Board games can be hired at reception. Security includes 24-hour surveillance, CCTV, and key access. Free parking and family rooms are offered. The resort is non-smoking throughout.
